Overdue credit investments of the Armenian banks at the end of October slashed by 5.3% from September to 11.8 billion drams, the Central Bank of Armenia said in its monthly information bulletin for October 2012.<\/p>\n<p>It said the share of overdue credits in total credit investments accounted for 0.8% in late October.<br \/>\nShort-term overdue credit investments dropped to over 11.6 billion drams versus 12.4 billion from September, and long-term ones rose to 182 million drams against 118 million respectively.<br \/>\nTime credit investment rose by 0.6% in October from September to 1487,6 billion drams, or 97.5% of all credit investments.<\/p>\n<p>Prolonged credit investments tumbled by 11.4% to 26.9 billion drams, making up 1.8% of all credit investments.<\/p>\n<p>The combined volume of credit investments of Armenian commercial banks stood at nearly 1526,4 billion drams late October versus 1520,7 billion drams in September. Short-term lending accounted for 23.9 % of all loans and long-term lending for 76.1%.
