YEREVAN, December 2. \/ARKA\/. Armenia recorded 1.2% inflation in November, compared with October, National Statistical Service reports.<\/p>\n
Prices for foods, spirits and tobacco products rose 1.8% and nonfoods 1.4% and services 0.1% in November, compared with the previous month.<\/p>\n
The index of consumer prices was 104.5% in November 2009 compared with December 2008.<\/p>\n
Foods, spirits and tobacco products became 1.1% cheaper, while prices for non-foods climbed 13.5% and services 10.1%.<\/p>\n
Armenia faced 0.4% average monthly price rise in Jan-Nov 2009 against 0.5% at the same period of the previous year.<\/p>\n
The index of consumer prices was 104.6% in November 2009, compared with November 2008, including 99.6% foods, spirits and tobacco.<\/p>\n
The index of nonfood prices was recorded at 110.9% and services 110.4%.<\/p>\n
These indicators were recorded at 103.1%, 99.1%, 103.8% and 110.4% accordingly in Jan-Nov 2009, compared with the same period a year earlier.<\/p>\n
According to the statistical report, consumer prices index was 123.4% in this year\u2019s November, compared with 2005, including 18.7% of foods, spirits and tobacco, 19.4% of nonfoods and 34% increase in services prices.<\/p>\n
In all the cities under review, consumer prices rose 0.8-1.5% in November, compared with October.<\/p>\n
The highest rise was recorded in Yeghegnadzor.<\/p>\n
Yerevan recorded 1.2% consumer price rise.<\/p>\n
