The level of economic activity grew by 7.2% in Armenia in 2012, whereas economic growth was 7%, head of parliament commission for finance, credit and budget issues, member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia Gagik Minasyan told journalists Saturday.<br \/>\n\u201cThe data on the country\u2019s GDP growth will be published some time later, but, according to the projections, it will stand at about 7%\u201d, Minasyan said.<\/p>\n<p>The head of the commission pointed out that after the crisis considerable changes occurred in the structure of Armenia\u2019s GDP: construction\u2019s share in the GDP dropped somehow, whereas the shares of industry and agriculture grew.<\/p>\n<p>After 2008, decline in construction had continued till 2012 when a small 0.2% rise was recorded in the field, Minasyan said.
