{"id":47155,"date":"2013-01-30T13:00:22","date_gmt":"2013-01-30T13:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/01\/30\/237451\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:02:08","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:02:08","slug":"ameriabanks-credit-portfolio-rose-7-to-146bln-drams-banks-financial-director-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/01\/30\/47155\/","title":{"rendered":"Ameriabank\u2019s credit portfolio rose 7% to 146bln drams, bank\u2019s financial director says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, January 30. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Ameriabank\u2019s credit portfolio grew by 7% to 146bln drams by the end of 2012, compared to the year before, the bank\u2019s financial director Gevorg Tarumyam told journalists Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Tarumyan pointed to the changes in the structure of the bank\u2019s balance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe stated that lending to small and medium business, as well as to individuals will be the main priorities of the bank\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n<p>The share of SME (small and medium enterprises) in the bank\u2019s credit portfolio grew by 12% in 2012 to about 21bln drams, according to the financial director. Loans to individuals totaled 25bln drams, an increase of 13% against 2011.<\/p>\n<p>The bank\u2019s assets rose by 22% to 245bln drams and the liabilities grew by 25% to 245bln drams in 2012 against 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Ameriabank\u2019s profits more than doubled to 6.2bln drams over the year.<\/p>\n<p>Ameriabank closed joint stock company is a universal bank offering investment, corporate and retail banking services in a complex solution package.
