Number of payment cards issued by Areximbank-Gazprombank Group closed joint stock company totaled 19,967, including 10,531 VISA cards, 6,734 MasterCards and 2,702 ArCa cards, as of the end of 2012.<\/p>\n<p>It is an increase of 34.20% compared to the same period of 2011. Number of active cards was 32,678 by the end of December 2012, including 18,372 VISA cards, 12,911 MasterCards and 1,395 ArCa cards, the bank\u2019s press service reported. Number of \u201csalary\u201d projects run by the bank was 143, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>The bank is planning to increase the number of cards up to 40,000, the card turnover up to 70,000 mln drams and number of \u201csalary\u201d projects to 157.<\/p>\n<p>Areximbank-Gazprombank Group closed joint-stock company was founded in 1998 to support entrepreneurs and to handle financial flows between Russia and Armenia. The bank is fully owned by Russian Gazprombank.<\/p>\n<p>In 2010, AB Certification (France) Audit Company granted ISO 9001:2008 international certificate of compliance to the bank. In 2012, the bank received ISO 27001: 2005 certificate of compliance from Certification International United Kingdom.
