{"id":48048,"date":"2013-02-15T16:11:38","date_gmt":"2013-02-15T16:11:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/02\/15\/237614\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:02:30","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:02:30","slug":"share-of-delinquent-loans-lent-to-individual-customers-stood-at-32-13-percent-at-the-end-of-quarter-4-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/02\/15\/48048\/","title":{"rendered":"Share of delinquent loans lent to individual customers stood at 32.13 percent at the end of quarter 4, 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, February 15. \/ ARKA \/. <\/strong>The share of delinquent loans lent to individual customers stood at 32.13 percent of the overall outstanding loan portfolio of Armenian banks at the end of quarter 4, 2012, according to the findings of a study, made by ARKA news agency based on interim financial statements of the banks for the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n<p>The overall outstanding loan portfolio of Armenia-based banks stood at 1.533.6 trillion drams, of which more than 492.7 billion were retail lending. At the end of the third quarter these figures stood at 1.473.4 trillion and 460.5 billion drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The ARKA study reveals that the leading bank in terms of retail lending  last year was ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, which accounted for 16.2 percent of the total lending to individual customers. Some  50.1% of its lending  or 79.9 billion drams were issued as loans to  individuals.<\/p>\n<p>It was followed by  VTB Bank (Armenia) (more than 64.8 billion drams), Ardshininvestbank (over 44.9 billion drams), Conversebank (35.2 billion drams), Armbusinessbank (about 34. 2 billion drams) and Unibank (about 34.1 billion drams). The share of their retail lending  in the total loan portfolio was 38.4%, 34.3%, 55.5%, 27.5% and 35.15 % respectively.
