{"id":4837,"date":"2009-12-07T10:44:59","date_gmt":"2009-12-07T10:44:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2009\/12\/07\/230249\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:45:29","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:45:29","slug":"moodys-investors-service-international-ratings-agency-leaves-armeconombanks-ratings-unchanged","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2009\/12\/07\/4837\/","title":{"rendered":"Moody&#8217;s Investors service international ratings agency leaves Armeconombank\u2019s ratings unchanged"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, December 4. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Moody&#8217;s Investors Service international ratings agency left Armeconombank\u2019s long-term Ba3 ratings on deposits in foreign and national currencies as well as D- financial stability rating unchanged in 2009, just as a year earlier, the press office of the bank reports.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the adverse impact of the global recession on Armenia\u2019s economy and particularly banking sector, Moody&#8217;s Investors Service leaves Armeconomibank\u2019s ratings unchanged the second consecutive year, the press release says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis circumstance proves that the bank\u2019s position on the world market is sustainable and key activity indicators are growing stably.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Armeconombank\u2019s press release, the number of bank\u2019s clients has grown by 20,900 and plastic cards by 11,800 since the beginning of this year.<br \/>\nIndividuals\u2019 deposits grew by AMD 1 billion and legal entities\u2019 by AMD 0.8 billion.<br \/>\nThe bank\u2019s credit portfolio grew by AMD 1.1 billion and demand deposits by AMD 3.3 billon.<\/p>\n<p>Remarkable is also that Moody&#8217;s Investors Service\u2019s financial ratings were received by 1,000 best world banks, and Armeconombank was included in the list before other Armenian banks.<\/p>\n<p>Armeconombank applied to Moody\u2019s for ratings in 2006.<br \/>\nAs a result, the agency gave E+ financial stability rating and long-term ratings for deposits in drams and foreign currencies to the bank on February 21, 2007.<br \/>\nOn April 24, 2007, the agency upgraded the bank\u2019s financial stability rating to D- and long-term ratings on deposits in foreign and national currencies to Ba3.<\/p>\n<p>Armeconombank\u2019s total capital exceeds AMD 8.6 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The bank\u2019s total assets amount to AMD 53 billion, credit investments total AMD 29 billion and individuals\u2019 deposits about AMD 6 billion.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2009, the bank opened a new branch, Shirak.<\/p>\n<p>Now Armeconombank has 35 branches in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. &#8212;0&#8212;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moody&#8217;s Investors service international ratings agency leaves Armeconombank\u2019s ratings unchanged.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":"","tstyn_error":""},"categories":[9214,9216],"tags":[12196,15648,12351,308],"class_list":{"0":"post-4837","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-banks-en-en","7":"category-news","8":"tag-armeconombank","9":"tag-moodys-2","10":"tag-ratings","11":"tag-308"},"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4837","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=4837"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4837\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4837"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=4837"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=4837"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
