Of them some 71,900 were corporate clients (an increase of 3.8%), while the number of individual clients grew by 19.4 percent to 1.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of January the banks had 1.9 million accounts, by 11.8 percent less than in 2012 January. The number of individuals\u2019 bank accounts slashed by almost 12 percent to 1.8 million, while the number of corporate bank accounts grew by 12 percent to 127,700.
