The number of transactions also declined by 37.3%.<\/p>\n<p>Of that amount 2.7 billion drams were non-cash transactions, by 46.4% less than in January 2013. Plastic cards were used also to withdraw 1.2 billion drams worth currency, down from 1.59 billion drams in January (a 21.3% decline).<\/p>\n<p>There are 21 commercial banks in Armenia of which 19 are members of the single payment system ArCa.
