{"id":52573,"date":"2013-04-16T10:53:39","date_gmt":"2013-04-16T10:53:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/04\/16\/238213\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:04:04","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:04:04","slug":"armenias-cb-total-liabilities-up-6-7-to-amd-1-180-3-trln","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/04\/16\/52573\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u2019s CB total liabilities up 6.7% to AMD 1.180.3 trln"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 16. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian Central Bank (CB) said Tuesday its aggregate liabilities increased year-over-year by 74.6 billion drams or 6.7% to over 1 .180.3 trillion drams as of 31 December 2012.<\/p>\n<p>According to the source, foreign exchange liabilities amounted to 445.1 billion drams, having decreased by 2.3% throughout 2012<\/p>\n<p>Also Central Bank\u2019s foreign exchange liabilities to the government downed by 31.6% to 2.7 billion drams in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Foreign currency deposits and accounts of financial and other organizations dropped by 15.7% year-over-year to 87.9 billion drams in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Central Bank\u2019s other borrowings during the reported year stood at 53.2 billion drams versus 38.8 billion drams in 2011 (36.9% upturn).<\/p>\n<p>Other foreign currency liabilities of the Central Bank amounted to 244.3 million drams.<br \/>\nAs follows from the Central Bank\u2019s report, the liabilities in AMD accounted for 62.3% of all liabilities (58.8% as of end-2011) \u2013735.2 billion drams, which was 13.1% higher from 2011.<br \/>\nDram liabilities of the CB to the government rose by 38% to over 110.7 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>Dram liabilities \u2013 bank notes and coins in circulation increased by 10.4% to nearly 440.1 billion drams in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>AMD accounts and deposits of financial and other institutions grew by 7.8% to 179.8 billion drams.<br \/>\nSome other AMD liabilities amounted 3 billion drams as of 31 December.
