{"id":53013,"date":"2013-04-22T12:51:48","date_gmt":"2013-04-22T12:51:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/04\/22\/238255\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:04:09","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:04:09","slug":"top-3-armenian-insurers-pay-total-of-over-amd-1-9-bln-in-car-insurance-compensations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/04\/22\/53013\/","title":{"rendered":"Top 3 Armenian insurers pay total of over AMD 1.9 bln in car insurance compensations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 22. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s top three insurance companies paid a total of about 1.9 billion drams or 68.7% of the overall volume of car insurance compensations in the first quarter of 2013, Armenian Motor Insurers\u2019 Bureau reported.<\/p>\n<p>Overall volume of car insurance compensations amounted to about 2,763.6 million drams in the reporting quarter, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>Rosgosstrakh tops the list with 878.8 million drams paid in car insurance compensation in Q1.<br \/>\nIngo Armenia and Reso paid over 658.8 mln drams and over 363mln drams respectively.<br \/>\nNumber of claims filed with the top three companies in the period was 9,750.<\/p>\n<p>There are currently seven insurance companies operating in Armenia\u2019s insurance market. The mandatory car insurance was introduced in the country as from January 1, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>The central bank is the regulator of the country\u2019s insurance industry.
