{"id":55399,"date":"2013-06-03T09:17:58","date_gmt":"2013-06-03T09:17:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/06\/03\/238562\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:05:00","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:05:00","slug":"armenias-commercial-banks-purchase-over-82-5mln-at-intra-banking-forex-market-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/06\/03\/55399\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u2019s commercial banks purchase over $82.5mln at intra-banking forex market last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, June 3. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian commercial banks purchased more than $82.5mln at a weighted average rate of 416.12drams per $1 in intra-banking foreign exchange market from May 27 to June 1, the press service of the Central Bank reported.<\/p>\n<p>In the same period, about 8.6mln euros and over 693mln rubles were purchased on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 538.5drams per \u20ac1 and 13.10drams per ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, about $89.9mln, about \u20ac12.5mln and about 93.6mln rubles were sold on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 417.40drams, 542.06drams and 13.28drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Dram loans extended by Armenian banks during the week before (May 20-26) totalled 37bln drams; dollar loans amounted to a total of $51.4mln.
