{"id":56521,"date":"2013-06-19T11:14:09","date_gmt":"2013-06-19T11:14:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/06\/19\/238722\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:05:26","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:05:26","slug":"armenias-commercial-banks-extended-130-2bln-drams-in-mortgage-loans-in-april","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/06\/19\/56521\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u2019s commercial banks extended 130.2bln drams in mortgage loans in April"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, June 19. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Mortgage credits extended by Armenia\u2019s commercial banks totaled about 130.2 billion drams as of the end of April, a reduction of 0.2% compared to March, says the monthly information guidebook of Armenia\u2019s Central Bank for April.<\/p>\n<p>According to the monthly data, dram loans alone totaled 63.9 billion drams, an increase of 0.9% compared to March; loans in foreign currency were 66.2 billion drams, a reduction of 1.2% against the month before.<\/p>\n<p>Share of mortgage loans in banks\u2019 overall credit portfolio was 7.9%.<\/p>\n<p>Armenian commercial banks\u2019 lending to resident economy amounted to over 1,634.1 billion drams as of the end of April, an increase of 0.5% against March level.<\/p>\n<p>There were 21 commercial banks registered in Armenia as of April 30.
