Interbank loans in foreign currency slashed by 8.3% to over 35.7 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>Lending to credit organizations climbed by 16.5% in April to 10.4 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>Loan investments in credit organizations surged by 28.7% in April from March to about 3.6 billion drams. Loans in foreign currency upped by 10.9% to over 6.8 billion drams as of late April.<\/p>\n<p>As of 30 April 2013, there are 21 commercial banks in Armenia.
