{"id":57240,"date":"2013-07-01T12:07:21","date_gmt":"2013-07-01T12:07:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/07\/01\/238809\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:05:39","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:05:39","slug":"armenian-average-monthly-salary-in-financial-sector-upped-by-22-2-to-amd-3774000-in-april","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/07\/01\/57240\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian average monthly salary in financial sector upped by 22.2% to AMD 377,4000 in April"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, July 1.\/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The average nominal monthly salary in Armenia in the highest-paid segment \u2013financial and insurance \u2013 rose by 22.2% to 377, 420 drams in April from a year earlier, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>The highest average monthly salary was also recorded in mining industry \u2013 about 328,100 drams, IT and communications &#8211; 305,600 drams, electric power, gas, steam and conditioned air- about 181,000 drams.<\/p>\n<p>The lowest-paid employees were in culture and rest segments, where the average salary was over 81,000 drams, in agriculture, forestry and fishery sector \u2013 96,500 drams.<\/p>\n<p>The services sector accounted for an average salary of 92,400 drams, and the education sector for 99,000 drams.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2013, the salary averaged 144, 929 drams \u2013 1.1% rise, compared with the previous month, and 4% rise, compared with April 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The highest average monthly salary was recorded in Syunik province \u2013 over 190,6 00 drams, and the lowest in Aragatsotn &#8211; about 102,100 drams. In Yerevan, the average nominal salary was recorded at 158,800 drams.<\/p>\n<p>The average nominal monthly salary in Armenia was 149, 364 drams (359 U.S. dollars or 11, 256 Russian rubles) in May 2013 \u2013 3% higher than it was in April.
