{"id":57335,"date":"2013-07-02T11:02:04","date_gmt":"2013-07-02T11:02:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/07\/02\/238821\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:05:42","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:05:42","slug":"transactions-at-nasdaq-omx-armenia-valued-at-amd-1-7bln-15-7-growth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/07\/02\/57335\/","title":{"rendered":"Transactions at NASDAQ OMX Armenia valued at AMD 1.7bln, 15.7% growth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, July 2.\/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The total volume\u00a0 of transactions at NASDAQ OMX Armenia rose by 15.7% in the first quarter 2013 year over year to over 1. 7 billion drams, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>Repo operations hit 8.6 million drams, transactions with shares valued at 794 million drams, with government bonds \u2013nearly 319.4 million drams, corporate bonds \u2013623.2 million drams.<br \/>\nTotal of 47 transactions have been processed at the stock exchange, 14 organizations have been listed.<\/p>\n<p>The volume of transactions made by individuals who offer investment services, stood at 1 213,1 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>As of 1Q 2013, there are 9 investment organizations and 14 issuers of securities.<\/p>\n<p>NASDAQ OMX Armenia (former Armenian Stock Exchange, Armex), was established in 2001 as a voluntary merger of 21 broker (dealer) companies. In November 2007 the stock exchange was reorganized into OJSC. OMX (current NASDAQ OMX) is a holder of 100% stock of NASDAQ OMX Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>The stock exchange obtained 100% stock of Armenia\u2019s Central Depository. NASDAQ OMX Armenia received a trade license from CBA on November 7, 2005. The trades on the stock exchange were officially launched on 15 November 2005.
