{"id":60086,"date":"2013-08-20T09:45:10","date_gmt":"2013-08-20T09:45:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/08\/20\/239143\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:06:31","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:06:31","slug":"armenias-commercial-banks-purchase-over-89-4mln-at-intra-banking-forex-market-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/08\/20\/60086\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u2019s commercial banks purchase over $89.4mln at intra-banking forex market last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, August 20. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian commercial banks purchased more than $89.4mln at a weighted average rate of 406.37drams per $1 in intra-banking foreign exchange market on August 12-16, the press service of the Central Bank reported.<\/p>\n<p>In the same period, about 6.2mln euros and over 830.6mln rubles were purchased on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 539.40drams per \u20ac1 and 12.24drams per ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, about $99.6mln, about \u20ac9.2mln and about 89.3mln rubles were sold on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 407.57drams, 543.02drams and 12.41drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Dram loans extended by Armenian banks during the week before (August 5-11) totalled 28.2bln drams; dollar loans amounted to a total of $38.9mln.
