{"id":60795,"date":"2013-09-02T09:06:38","date_gmt":"2013-09-02T09:06:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/09\/02\/239245\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:06:44","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:06:44","slug":"armenias-commercial-banks-purchase-over-78-6mln-at-intra-banking-forex-market-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/09\/02\/60795\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u2019s commercial banks purchase over $78.6mln at intra-banking forex market last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, September 2. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian commercial banks purchased more than $78.6mln at a weighted average rate of 405.60drams per $1 in intra-banking foreign exchange market on August 26-30, the press service of the Central Bank reported.<\/p>\n<p>In the same period, about 6.8mln euros and over 787.1mln rubles were purchased on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 540.19drams per \u20ac1 and 12.16drams per ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, about $93.4mln, about \u20ac11.1mln and about 103.3mln rubles were sold on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 406.61drams, 542.76drams and 12.31drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Dram loans extended by Armenian banks during the week before (August 19-25) totalled 36.8bln drams; dollar loans amounted to a total of $34.1mln.
