YEREVAN, January 11. \/ARKA\/. Armenian banks enlarged the number of their clients by 13,900 in October to 1,101,300, of which 58,700 were legal entities and 1,042,600 individuals, National Statistical Service reports.<\/p>\n
By late October, Armenian commercial banks had 1,485,800 accounts, of which 1,373,100 belonged to individuals.<\/p>\n
VTB Bank (Armenia) had 3,469,462 clients by late October.<\/p>\n
The balance of deposits attracted from the country\u2019s population reached AMD 282 billion after growing 2.4% or by AMD 6476 million over October 2009 and 39.3% or by AMD 79.6 billion, compared with the same month a year earlier.<\/p>\n
The balance of time deposits attracted from the population amounted to AMD 211.8 billion after growing 3.3% or by AMD 6734 million over October and 41.6% or by AMD 62.2 billion, compared with the same month a year before.<\/p>\n
