{"id":62826,"date":"2013-09-30T15:19:10","date_gmt":"2013-09-30T15:19:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/09\/30\/239445\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:07:16","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:07:16","slug":"armenia-has-one-of-the-most-stable-banking-systems-in-region-board-member-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/09\/30\/62826\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia has one of the most stable banking systems in region: board member says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, September 30. \/ ARKA \/.<\/strong> A Central Bank of Armenia Board member Armenak Darbinyan praised today the country\u2019s banking system describing it as \u2018one of the most stable financial systems in the region\u2019, adding also that this should be advertised vigorously among citizens.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had a negative experience from the Soviet times when our country fellows saw their savings depreciate dramatically, which in turn reduced their trust in the financial institutions, especially in banks. But today we have one of the most stable financial systems in the region,&#8221; Darbinyan said after the official presentation of a campaign designed to improve the level of financial literacy of the population. The project called My Financial Month is scheduled to be launched in late October this year.<\/p>\n<p>Darbinyan said many people are still wary of the banks\u2019 policy to insure their deposits up to 4 million drams. &#8220;I want to assure everyone that this really works.
