{"id":64344,"date":"2013-10-22T16:12:42","date_gmt":"2013-10-22T16:12:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/10\/22\/239602\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:07:46","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:07:46","slug":"ratio-of-armenian-banks-assets-to-gdp-rises-1-9-in-jan-june-2013-to-64-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/10\/22\/64344\/","title":{"rendered":"Ratio of Armenian banks\u2019 assets to GDP rises 1.9% in Jan-June 2013 to 64.1%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, October 22. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Ratio of Armenian banks\u2019 assets to GDP rose 1.9 percentage points in Jan-June 2013 to 64.1%, the central bank\u2019s financial stability report says.<\/p>\n<p>The ratio of the loans extended to the economy to GDP went 0.9 percentage points up to 39.5%.<br \/>\nThe regulator says in its report that the ratio of deposits in Armenian banks to GDP increased 4.4 percentage points to 32.8% and the money stock-GDP ratio shed 0.8 percentage points to 33.0%.<br \/>\nAccording to the report, nonresidents\u2019 share in the authorized capital of Armenia\u2019s banks shrank 0.1% to 73.2%.<\/p>\n<p>The banks\u2019 total capital grew 3.1% or by AMD 12.5 billion and their total assets grew 6.6% or by AMD 162.9 billion. As a result, total capital\/total assets ratio (leverage coefficient) slid 0.5 percentage points to 15.6%.<\/p>\n<p>Armenian banks\u2019 aggregate assets totaled about AMD 2641.1 billion in late June showing a 10.26-percent growth since the beginning of this year and their liabilities reached AMD 2213.9 billion in late June after growing 11.17%.<\/p>\n<p>The banks\u2019 total capital amounted to AMD 427.1 billion (a 5.81-percent growth).<\/p>\n<p>Their total assets amounted to AMD 2719.6 billion in late September (13.54% growth since the beginning of this year), liabilities AMD 2274.6 billion (14.21% growth) and total capital AMD 444.9 billion (10.21% growth).
