{"id":64643,"date":"2013-10-28T12:20:51","date_gmt":"2013-10-28T12:20:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/10\/28\/239628\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:07:51","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:07:51","slug":"armenias-commercial-banks-on-list-of-1000-top-taxpayers-in-q3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/10\/28\/64643\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u2019s commercial banks on list of 1000 top taxpayers in Q3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, October 28. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> All Armenian commercial banks appeared on the list of top 1,000 tax payers of the country in the third quarter of 2013, having paid a total of about 29.6 billion drams to the government budget, the website of Armenia\u2019s State Revenue Committee reports.<\/p>\n<p>Tax collection by tax authorities amounted to over 29.4 billion drams; duties collected by the customs bodies totalled around 150.4 million drams.<\/p>\n<p>Direct taxes (profit tax, income tax) exceeded 27.5 billion drams; indirect taxes (including VAT and excise tax) were about 1.5 billion drams; other taxes, duties and mandatory payments amounted to 522.2 million drams.<\/p>\n<p>The banks accounted for 6.1% of the overall volume of taxes paid by 1,000 top taxpayers of Armenia in the reporting quarter.<\/p>\n<p>The five biggest bank taxpayers were HSBC Bank Armenia (about 3.6bln drams, 17th place), Bank VTB (Armenia) (about 3.6bln drams, 18th), ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK (about 3bln drams, 22nd), Ardshininvestbank (over 2.7bln drams, 28th), as well as Ameriabank (about 2.46bln drams, 35th).<\/p>\n<p>The following banks were among the first hundred biggest taxpayers: Unibank (about 2.24bln drams, 38th), Araratbank (about 1.7bln drams, 44th), Inecobank (over 1.56bln drams, 48th), Areximbank-Gazprombank Group (about 1.3bln drams, 56th), Armbusinessbank (about 1.2bln drams, 62nd) and Conversebank (about 1.1bln drams, 75th).<\/p>\n<p>In general, the top 1,000 taxpayers have paid a total of over 479.9 billion drams to the state budget in the third quarter of 2013, as compared to 394.9 billion drams in the same period of the year before.
