{"id":68003,"date":"2013-12-16T09:11:40","date_gmt":"2013-12-16T09:11:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2013\/12\/16\/239961\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:08:53","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:08:53","slug":"armenias-commercial-banks-purchase-over-96-7-mln-at-intra-banking-forex-market-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2013\/12\/16\/68003\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u2019s Commercial Banks purchase over $96.7 mln at intra-banking forex market last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, December 16. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian commercial banks purchased more than $96.7mln at a weighted average rate of 404.87drams per $1 in intra-banking foreign exchange market on December 9-13, the press service of the Central Bank reported.<\/p>\n<p>In the same period, about 7.2mln euros and over 780.6mln rubles were purchased on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 554.90drams per \u20ac1 and 12.26drams per ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, about $105.1mln, about \u20ac12.9mln and about 140.8mln rubles were sold on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 406.05drams, 558.79drams and 12.46drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Dram loans extended by Armenian banks during the week before (December 2-8) totalled 40.4bln drams; dollar loans amounted to a total of $34.9mln.
