Armenian commercial banks purchased about $90.1mln at a weighted average rate of 406.47 drams per $1 in intra-banking foreign exchange market on January 13-17, the press service of the Central Bank reported.<\/p>\n<p>In the same period, about 6.2mln euros and over 672.6mln rubles were purchased on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 552.89drams per \u20ac1 and 12.13drams per ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, about $90.3 mln, about \u20ac13.4 mln and about 126.41 mln rubles were sold on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 407.74drams, 557.09drams and 12.29drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Dram loans extended by Armenian banks on January 6-12, 2014, totalled 18.7bln drams; dollar loans amounted to a total of $10.7mln.
