{"id":69847,"date":"2014-01-29T09:20:36","date_gmt":"2014-01-29T09:20:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2014\/01\/29\/240127\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:09:22","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:09:22","slug":"armenias-commercial-banks-purchase-over-94-6-mln-at-intra-banking-forex-market-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2014\/01\/29\/69847\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u2019s commercial banks purchase over $94.6 mln at intra-banking forex market last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, January 29. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian commercial banks purchased more than $94.6mln at a weighted average rate of 406.33drams per $1 in intra-banking foreign exchange market on January 20-24, the press service of the Central Bank reported.<\/p>\n<p>In the same period, about 5.1mln euros and over 620.8mln rubles were purchased on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 551.02drams per \u20ac1 and 11.92drams per ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, about $92.5mln, about \u20ac11.7mln and about 134.3mln rubles were sold on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 407.52drams, 554.53drams and 12.10drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Dram loans extended by Armenian banks during the week before (January 13-19) totalled 37.1bln drams; dollar loans amounted to a total of $44mln.
