{"id":7113,"date":"2010-02-02T15:19:56","date_gmt":"2010-02-02T15:19:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2010\/02\/02\/230553\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:46:09","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:46:09","slug":"about-50-of-armenian-citizens-skeptical-about-governments-bailout-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2010\/02\/02\/7113\/","title":{"rendered":"About 50% of Armenian citizens skeptical about government\u2019s bailout plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, February 2. \/\u0410\u0420\u041a\u0410\/.<\/strong> About 50% of respondents surveyed on www.armbanks.am are sceptical about the government\u2019s bailout plan.<\/p>\n<p>In its plan, the government has put a special emphasis on financing those projects aimed at development of import-replacing areas by using instruments, such as government guarantees to private enterprises, direct lending, a direct participation of the government in companies\u2019 capital and subsidies.<\/p>\n<p>The survey shows that 42% of respondents or 58 people are convinced the government\u2019s program is not able to remedy the situation, while 37% or 51 people thinks otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty one percent refrained from answering the question because they had no idea about content of the governmental program.<\/p>\n<p>Some 137 people have answered the question over the period between October 6, 2009, and February 1, 2010.<\/p>\n<p>ARKA News Agency launched new projects &#8211; www.armbanks.am, www.bonds.am and www.anticrisis.am \u2013 as part of the strategy of Internet directions of its business.<br \/>\nIn addition to up-to-date information, analysis, exclusive interviews and data related to banks, insurance and credit organizations as well as comparison of financial indicators and statistical reports are available on the portal.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors to ARKA News Agency\u2019s websites can enjoy online conferences and online consultation.<\/p>\n<p>Credit calculator and currency converter are available as well.<\/p>\n<p>ARKA News Agency started functioning on May 1, 1996.
