In 2003 he chaired the board of directors of ACBA Leasing and headed Alliance Francaise d\u2019Armenie in 2006. In 2006-2007 Stepan Gishyan was the chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>Stepan Gishyan made a great contribution to development of agriculture and the banking sector in Armenia, the bank said in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>His efforts brought Armenia-France relations to a new level.<\/p>\n<p>Gishyan was awarded Anania Shirakatsi medal by Armenia\u2019s president in 2001 and received the national order for merits from French president in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK was established in 1995 as part of the European Union\u2019s TACIS program.
