{"id":73948,"date":"2014-04-03T06:38:31","date_gmt":"2014-04-03T06:38:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2014\/04\/03\/240563\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:10:43","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:10:43","slug":"number-of-commercial-banks-clients-in-armenia-rose-to-1-9-million-as-of-end-of-january","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2014\/04\/03\/73948\/","title":{"rendered":"Number of commercial banks\u2019 clients in Armenia rose to 1.9 million as of end of January"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 3. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Number of customers in Armenia\u2019s banking system totaled 1,903,029 people as of the end of January 2014, an increase of 17.5% compared to the same period of the year before, ArmStat told ARKA.<\/p>\n<p>Of the, 75,679 were legal entities, 5% increase against January 2013, and 1,827,350 were individuals (18.1% increase).<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, there were over 3,218,162 accounts registered in the country\u2019s commercial banks, an increase of 64.6% against the 2013 January level.<\/p>\n<p>Number of personal accounts was 3,052,646 (67% increase) and that of organizations was 165,516 (29.5% increase).<\/p>\n<p>Balance of deposits from population was about 806.8 billion drams as of the end of February 2014, an increase of 15,596mln drams or 0.2% over a month and increase of 139.9bln drams or 20.9% compared to the same period of the year before.
