{"id":75884,"date":"2014-05-20T10:04:16","date_gmt":"2014-05-20T10:04:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2014\/05\/20\/240834\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:11:31","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:11:31","slug":"armenias-economic-activity-rose-by-3-6-in-january-april","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2014\/05\/20\/75884\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u2019s economic activity rose by 3.6% in January-April"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, May 20. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s economic activity index, according to preliminary statistics, rose by 3.6% in January-April this year compared to the same period of 2013, ArmStat reported.<\/p>\n<p>Consumer prices hiked by 4.6% and industrial producers\u2019 prices by 6.7% compared to January-April 2013, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>Industrial production output was 369.76 billion drams in the reporting period (1.4% reduction).<\/p>\n<p>Agriculture output amounted to 111.29 billion drams (4.1% increase), construction output was 61.78 billion drams (0.7% increase), domestic trade turnover \u2013 627 billion drams (5.1% increase) and output in the services sector \u2013 317.7 billion drams (2.8% increase).<\/p>\n<p>Armenia\u2019s foreign trade turnover was about $1,812.8 million as of the end of January-April, a 1.6% year-on-year increase.<\/p>\n<p>GDP growth is 5.2% under 2014 budget.
