{"id":76299,"date":"2014-06-02T08:19:16","date_gmt":"2014-06-02T08:19:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2014\/06\/02\/240896\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:11:43","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:11:43","slug":"armenias-commercial-banks-purchase-over-136-2-mln-at-intra-banking-forex-market-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2014\/06\/02\/76299\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u2019s commercial banks purchase over $136.2 mln at intra-banking forex market last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, June 2. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian commercial banks purchased over $136.2mln at a weighted average rate of 412.54 drams per $1 in intra-banking foreign exchange market on May 26-31, the press service of the Central Bank reported.<\/p>\n<p>In the same period, about 9.9mln euros and about 846.5mln rubles were purchased on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 560.82 drams per \u20ac1 and 11.91 drams per ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, over $145.6mln, about \u20ac14.4mln and over 121.8mln rubles were sold on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 413.47drams, 565.25drams and 12.06drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Dram loans extended by Armenian banks during the week before (May 19-25) totalled 39.2bln drams; dollar loans amounted to a total of $47.5mln.
