{"id":77372,"date":"2014-07-02T14:29:34","date_gmt":"2014-07-02T14:29:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2014\/07\/02\/241088\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:12:17","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:12:17","slug":"individual-money-transfers-to-armenia-grow-3-to-144-6-million-in-may-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2014\/07\/02\/77372\/","title":{"rendered":"Individual money transfers to Armenia grow 3% to $144.6 million in May 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, July 2. \/ ARKA \/.<\/strong> More than $144.6 million came to Armenia through banks as individual noncommercial money transfers in May 2014 \u2013 a 3% year-on-year growth and 8.5% month-on-month growth, the Central Bank of Armenia reports on its website.<\/p>\n<p>About $25.7 million was transferred from Armenia abroad in May 2014 against $25.2 million in May 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Net inflow in Armenia amounted to about $118.9 million in May 2014 against $115.3 million in May 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The inflow from Russia was larger than from other countries \u2013 about 83.2% (about $120.4 million and 1.3% year-on-year growth) of the total amount of individual remittances to Armenia in May 2014 and outflow from Armenia to Russia amounted to $15.8 million (7.3% growth).<\/p>\n<p>According to the central bank, $1 869.7 million was transferred to Armenia in 2013 \u2013 17.3% of the country\u2019s GDP.
