Their deposits in drams amounted to AMD 484.2 billion (5.2% growth) and in foreign currencies AMD 741.8 billion (7.7% growth).<\/p>\n<p>Residents\u2019 demand deposits totaled AMD 365.9 billion (6.9% growth) \u2013 deposits in drams amounted to AMD 190.5 billion and in foreign currencies to AMD 175.4 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Their time deposits totaled AMD 860 billion (6.6% growth) \u2013 about AMD 293.7 billion in drams and AMD 566.4 billion in foreign currencies.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty one commercial banks functioned in Armenia in late May.
