Households\u2019 deposits in foreign currencies in Armenia\u2019s commercial banks totaled AMD 573.5 billion in late May 2014 \u2013 2.5% month-on-month growth, the Central Bank of Armenia reports on its website.<\/p>\n<p>Households\u2019 time deposits totaled more than AMD 484.2 billion and made up 84.4% of their total foreign currency deposits in late May after growing 0.7% over the month.<\/p>\n<p>Dram deposits of Armenia\u2019s households grew 1.8% to AMD 272 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The total amount of deposits in Armenia\u2019s commercial banks was AMD 1 630.7 billion in late May 2014 \u2013 1.7% month-on-month growth.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty one commercial banks operated in Armenia in late may 2014.
