{"id":78092,"date":"2014-07-25T09:46:54","date_gmt":"2014-07-25T09:46:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2014\/07\/25\/241208\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:12:40","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:12:40","slug":"armenian-commercial-banks-loan-portfolio-grows-4-8-to-amd-1-88-trillion-by-late-june","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2014\/07\/25\/78092\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian commercial banks\u2019 loan portfolio grows 4.8% to AMD 1.88 trillion by late June"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, July 25. \/\u0410\u0420\u041a\u0410\/.\u00a0<\/strong> The aggregate loan portfolio of Armenia\u2019s commercial banks has been grown 4.8% since the beginning of this year reaching about AMD 1884.2 billion by late June.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Central Bank of Armenia, lending to resident\u2019s amounted to AMD 1831 billion after growing 5% over six months.<\/p>\n<p>The loans extended in drams totaled AMD 689.7 billion \u2013 3.4% growth, and those extended in foreign currencies totaled AMD 1141.3 billion \u2013 6% growth.<\/p>\n<p>In June, the banks lent 1015.6 billion (2.5% growth) to corporate clients, AMD 731 billion (9.3% growth) to households, AMD 42.5 billion (4.6% recline) to noncommercial organizations and AMD 41.9 billion (6.5% growth) to other financial organizations.<\/p>\n<p>The loans extended to nonresidents amounted to AMD 53.1 billion (2.6% decline).<\/p>\n<p>Twenty one commercial banks functioned in Armenia in late June 2014.
