{"id":79018,"date":"2014-09-01T08:45:35","date_gmt":"2014-09-01T08:45:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2014\/09\/01\/241365\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:13:11","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:13:11","slug":"armenias-commercial-banks-purchase-about-78-6-mln-at-intra-banking-forex-market-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2014\/09\/01\/79018\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u2019s commercial banks purchase about $78.6 mln at intra-banking forex market last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, September 1. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian commercial banks purchased about $78.6mln at a weighted average rate of 409.57drams per $1 in intra-banking foreign exchange market on August 25- 29, the press service of the Central Bank reported.<\/p>\n<p>In the same period, over 7.2mln euros and about 963.5mln rubles were purchased on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 539.02 drams per \u20ac1 and 11.23 drams per ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, about $94.6mln, about \u20ac12mln and 93.3mln rubles were sold on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 410.73drams, 543.45drams and 11.38drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Dram loans extended by Armenian banks during the week before (August 18-24) totalled about 42.3bln drams; dollar loans amounted to a total of $36.9mln.
