This amount is 2.7% more than that transferred to the country in the same period the year before.<\/p>\n<p>The Central Bank of Armenia says in a fresh issue of its monthly bulletin that about $196.6 million was transferred from Armenia outside in January-July against $175.9 million in the same period the year before (11.7% increase).<\/p>\n<p>The net inflow amounted to about $771.3 million in Jan-July 2014 against $766817 million in Jan-July 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The bulk of transfers come from Russia \u2013 about 82.2% of the total amount of individual transfers. Armenia received about $796.6 million from Russia over seven months of this year (a 0.05% year-on-year decrease) and transferred $111.8 million to Russia (an 11.8% growth).<\/p>\n<p>Over $194.7 million was received in Armenia in July alone \u2013 4.42% more than in the same month the year before.<\/p>\n<p>About $30.2 million was sent outside of Armenia in July 2014 against $26.3 million in July 2013. Net inflow in July 2014 amounted to about $164.5 million against $177.4 million in July 2013.<\/p>\n<p>According to the central bank, transfers to Armenia totaled $1,869.7 million in 2013 and made up 17.3% of the country\u2019s GDP.
