{"id":80407,"date":"2014-10-14T15:00:37","date_gmt":"2014-10-14T15:00:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2014\/10\/14\/241606\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:13:55","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:13:55","slug":"contest-of-childrens-pictures-held-in-head-office-of-areximbank-gazprombank-group-in-yerevan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2014\/10\/14\/80407\/","title":{"rendered":"Contest of children\u2019s pictures held in head office of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group in Yerevan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, October 14. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> A contest of children\u2019s pictures was held under the motto \u2018Peace, Work and Bank\u2019 in the head office of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CJSC in Yerevan on the Day of the City, the bank\u2019s press office reported on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The contest was held as part of \u2018My Finance Month\u2019, the campaign the Central Bank of Armenia and the Association of Commercial Bank have launched to boost banking services.<\/p>\n<p>More than 30 children of the bank\u2019s employees took part in the contest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAhead of the start of the contest I asked children what are the meanings of \u2018peace\u2019 and \u2018work\u2019 words, and they answered that \u2018peace\u2019 is a state in which there is no war, and \u2018work\u2019 is their parents\u2019 employment at the bank,\u201d said Yelena Markova, an organizer of the contest and the advisor to the bank CEO.<\/p>\n<p>Pictures of 13-year-old Tigran Ghazaryan, who came to the contest from the bank\u2019s Martuni branch, and of 11-year-old Arsen Petrosyan from Yerevan were recognized best not only for their artistic merits, but also for how these young artists explained the ideas of their pictures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will preserve the children\u2019s pictures for sure as part of the history our bank that is entering on its 17th year,\u201d Markova said. \u201cWe\u2019ll probably issue colorful calendars or school diaries with our remarkable and talented children\u2019s bright pictures.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The bank\u2019s assets totaled AMD 146.5 billion, liabilities AMD 124.6 billion and credit investments AMD 82.6 billion in early July 2014. Its capital amounted to AMD 21.9 billion. The bank\u2019s 2nd Q 2014 net profit amounted to AMD 547.6 million showing a 56.13% year-on-year growth.
