{"id":81850,"date":"2014-11-27T12:46:34","date_gmt":"2014-11-27T12:46:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2014\/11\/27\/241855\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:14:43","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:14:43","slug":"ibrd-and-adb-to-provide-armenia-with-124-million-loans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2014\/11\/27\/81850\/","title":{"rendered":"IBRD and ADB to provide Armenia with $124 million loans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, November 27. \/ ARKA \/.<\/strong> The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), a member of the World Bank Group and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide Armenia with budget loans totaling $124 million, Deputy Finance Minister Pavel Safaryan told a Cabinet session today.<\/p>\n<p>The government\u00a0 has approved today an agreement\u00a0 signed 19th November 2014 by the government and the IBRD\u00a0 and another agreement signed\u00a0 October 3, 2014 with the Asian Development Bank.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Under the agreement, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development will provide Armenia with a budget loan of $75 million repayable in 25 years, while the Asian Development Bank will provide the government with $49 million loan,&#8221; said Safaryan.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the ADB loan is repayable in 25 years and is given at the rate of 2%.
