{"id":81895,"date":"2014-11-28T12:04:27","date_gmt":"2014-11-28T12:04:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2014\/11\/28\/241861\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:14:44","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:14:44","slug":"hsbc-bank-armenia-launches-mobile-banking-application","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2014\/11\/28\/81895\/","title":{"rendered":"HSBC Bank Armenia launches mobile banking application"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, 28 November. \/ ARKA \/.<\/strong> HSBC Bank Armenia has launched today the Mobile Banking application, which is available both to individual and corporate clients, Chief Executive Officer, Thies Clemenz, said at the presentation.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mr. Clemenz, the Mobile Banking is a simple and convenient tool for mobile people to make fast banking transactions.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, more than 5 million customers of HSBC Bank in the world use this application and was recognized as the best\u00a0 mobile banking app by The Global Finance magazine in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Mihran Muradyan, head of HSBC Bank Armenia retail banking services department, said the application meets the highest international standards both in terms of convenience and safety.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If you are a client of HSBC Bank Armenia and use Internet banking services, as well as smartphones and tablets working on iOS and Android operating systems, you can easily download and use our Mobile Banking application&#8221;,\u00a0 he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the application provides access to accounts anywhere in the world 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It also enables clients to check their balances at any time,\u00a0 to see the latest 90 operations\u00a0 in the same window. The app also can be used to open deposit accounts, to make various payments, including by credit cards, to repay loans, make money transfers to other accounts in\u00a0 HSBC Bank Armenia, as well as to the accounts in other banks in Armenia and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>HSBC Bank Armenia is a joint venture between the HSBC Europe BV, which has a 70% ownership, and Wings Establishment that owns the other 30%. It joined Nasdaq OMX Armenia stock exchange in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>HSBC Bank Armenia offers a wide range of products and services to individual as well as corporate customers in Armenia and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The bank&#8217;s assets as of October 1, 2014 stood at 261.3 billion drams, the liabilities \u2013 at 214.5 billion drams, the credit investments \u2013 at about 171.5 billion drams and the capital \u2013 at about 46.8 billion drams.
