YEREVAN, 28 November. \/ ARKA \/.<\/strong> Ardshinbank CJSC was awarded the Bank of the Year 2014 in Armenia by \u201cThe Banker\u201d magazine of the prestigious Financial Times in an award ceremony held in London on November 27.<\/p>\n

In connection with receiving the “Bank of the Year” award the Chairman of the Management Board of Ardshinbank CJSC Mher Grigoryan noted: “The achievements of the Bank, recognized by \u201cThe Banker” magazine, are an important proof of the bank\u2019s being on the right path of development.”<\/p>\n

This has been, above all, achieved through successful implementation of the best international banking practices to the benefit of our customers that contributed to further strengthening of our leading positions in the Armenian banking system.<\/p>\n

Over 15 years the British prestigious magazine “The Banker” carries out an annual evaluation of results of activity of the worldwide best financial institutions. Every year the competition is attended by bank executives from more than 150 countries.<\/p>\n

Ardshinbank\u2019s (formerly Ardshininvestbank) main shareholder is the Center of Business Investments \u2013 97.5169%. Ardshinank operates 55 branches.<\/p>\n

The bank\u2019s assets as of October 1, 2014 stood at more than 273.1 billion drams, its liabilities \u2013 at about 226 billion drams, lending \u2013 at 182.9 billion dram and the capital \u2013 at 47.1 billion drams.
