{"id":82812,"date":"2014-12-18T12:00:31","date_gmt":"2014-12-18T12:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2014\/12\/18\/242062\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:15:22","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:15:22","slug":"doubtful-credit-investments-of-armenian-banks-in-nine-months-surge-by-47-4-to-26-9-billion-drams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2014\/12\/18\/82812\/","title":{"rendered":"Doubtful credit investments of Armenian banks in nine months surge by 47.4% to 26.9 billion drams"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, December 18. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian commercial banks\u2019 doubtful credit investments in the first nine months of the year amounted to 26.9 billion drams, an increase of 47.4 percent if compared with the beginning of the year, according to the \u201cBulletin of the Central Bank of Armenia\u201d for the third quarter of 2014.<\/p>\n<p>It says standard credit investments of the banks\u2019 in the reporting period amounted to about 1,820.3 billion drams or 93.5% of their total credit investments (a 6.3% increase).<\/p>\n<p>Controlled credit investments totaled 63.3 billion drams (an increase of 53.1%), and non-standard credit investments jumped by 61.4 percent to 35.9 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>Overall credit investments of banks as of September 30, 2014, stood at 1,946.5 billion drams, an increase of 8.6 percent compared with the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>There were 21 commercial banks in Armenia and the Pan-Armenian Bank at the end of September.
