It means only projects with long-term effect will be presented here.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to that, promising projects will find their financing quicker than others.<\/p>\n<p>The website was launched a few days ago, but several social, community and charity projects are already presented here.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough this is not the first platform of this kind in Armenia, Fundr.am is peculiar for some characteristics,\u201d Gevorgyan said. \u201cIn particular, the website\u2019s whole content undergoes filtration and control before being posted here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Answering ARKA News Agency\u2019s question in what way the organization intends to attract funds for financing projects under Fundr.am, Gevorgyan said that there are several mechanisms for that \u2013 for example, it is possible to make donations via this platform and large organizations may double individual donations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow Fundr.am takes no fee for brokering, but when the platform grows we will set a certain price,\u201d he said.<br \/>\nSEF International UCO LLC has been established by World Vision Christian humanitarian aid, development and advocacy organization.<\/p>\n<p>In 2003, the UCO was licensed by the Central Bank of Armenia. Its only owner is VisionFund International, a specialized microfinance subsidiary of the World Vision.<\/p>\n<p>SEF International has lent over AMD 29.3 billion to more than 72,000 clients since it was established in 1997. It has also contributed to creation and maintenance of 63,000 jobs.<\/p>\n<p>Fundr.am website is a platform for financing projects via Internet, where people may exchange advices and attract financial resources, investing this way in Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>SEF International UCO, the founder of Fundr.am, has a similar experience \u2013 the company has attracted $6 million within four years of cooperating with Kiva.org.
