{"id":8306,"date":"2010-02-27T12:18:58","date_gmt":"2010-02-27T12:18:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2010\/02\/27\/230707\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:46:28","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:46:28","slug":"armenian-economy-ministry-develop-mechanisms-to-improve-corporate-management-of-joint-stock-companies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2010\/02\/27\/8306\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian economy ministry develop mechanisms to improve corporate management of joint stock companies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, February 26, \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian economy minister Nerses Yeritsian said today his ministry is developing mechanisms that would help implement the corporate management of joint stock companies.<\/p>\n<p>He said a related corporate management code is ready and a set of principles it spells out will be mandatory for all public and private sector companies and banks, which are listed in the exchange stock.<\/p>\n<p>In his words, others will have to either comply with the code or explain why it can not applicable to their company.<\/p>\n<p>Nerses Yeritsian said the corporate management code is not a tool of punishment of companies. He said it allows the business to realize its possibilities, to enter a dialogue with the government for increasing its transparency, raise its efficiency, which in the long run will result in new investments.
