Foreign currency deposits accounted for 64.1 percent of all resident deposits, it said.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, deposits in Armenian national currency, the dram, fell by 5.6 percent from 2014 December, but they were 2.7 percent higher from December 2013 standing at 472.97 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of 2014 December the total amount of deposits in commercial banks of Armenia stood at 1.757.5 trillion drams, an increase of 1.6 percent from the previous month.
