From January 2010 \u201cINGO Armenia\u201d introduced new product of tourist insurance \u201cSTANDARD SPORT\u201d for tourists going abroad.<\/p>\n<p>High demand for this service appeared during winter holidays. Formerly \u201cINGO Armenia\u201d was implementing insurance of tourists by three programs &#8211; \u201cECONOM\u201d, \u201cSTANDARD\u201d and \u201cBUSINESS\u201d with relevant risk specters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSTANDARD SPORT\u201d covers risks of standard-program and expenses related to traumas which the tourists obtain during amateur sport events.<\/p>\n<p>Average cost of one week insurance is 20 EURO with insurance coverage of 30 thousand EURO or $50 thousand.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cINGO Armenia\u201d is the leader of insurance market by money collection and tourist insurance. In 2009 the company collected about 80 million insurance bonuses by 12.5 thousand contracts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cINGO Armenia\u201d is established in 1997 as Closed Joint Stock Insurance Company \u201cEfes\u201d. In 2003 the main portfolio of the shares of the company obtained Russian company \u201cINGOSSTRAKH\u201d after which it was renamed \u201cINGO Armenia\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Currently \u201cINGO Armenia\u201d is working according to the license of Armenian Central Bank which gives opportunity to the company to implement activity by 12 types of non-life insurances.<\/p>\n<p>The company reinsures its insurance package in leading reinsurance companies such as German<br \/>\nMunich Re and ACE, French SCOR, American AIG and Chub Insurance Group, Polish Re and Russian INGOSSTRAKH.
