YEREVAN, March 3. \/ARKA\/. Armenian banks\u2019 aggregate liabilities reached AMD 1059.3 billion by late December 2009 after growing 32.9% or by AMD 262.5 billion since the beginning of that year.<\/p>\n
They grew 5.9% or by AMD 59.7 billion, compared with the third quarter.<\/p>\n
ARKA News Agency\u2019s analysis shows that ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, with its 127.3 billion and 30.7% year-on year growth, became the leader among Armenian banks on this indicators.<\/p>\n
Its liabilities make up 12.02% of Armenian banks\u2019 aggregate liabilities.<\/p>\n
HSBC Bank Armenia came second in this ranking.<\/p>\n
Its liabilities amounted to AMD 118.7 billion and constituted 11.2% of banks\u2019 aggregate liabilities.<\/p>\n
Unibank, with its AMD 97 billion (99.16%), is placed third in ARKA News Agency\u2019s ranking.<\/p>\n
VTB Bank (Armenia), with AMD 95.5 billion and 9.01%, follows Unibank.<\/p>\n
Then Ardshininvesbank (AMD 92.1 billion and 8.7%) comes.<\/p>\n
These banks\u2019 shares in Armenian banks\u2019 aggregate liabilities was 50.1% in 2009.<\/p>\n
