{"id":84821,"date":"2015-02-24T07:34:01","date_gmt":"2015-02-24T07:34:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2015\/02\/24\/242411\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:16:30","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:16:30","slug":"genium-inet-platform-to-be-introduced-in-the-armenian-stock-exchange-in-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2015\/02\/24\/84821\/","title":{"rendered":"Genium INET platform to be introduced in the Armenian stock exchange in 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, February 23. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Genium INET modern stock exchange platform, will be introduced in NASDAQ OMX Armenia this year, director of the stock exchange Konstantin Saroyan said.<\/p>\n<p>It is the commercial trading system of NASDAQ OMX Group and will be applied in the Armenian market this year, he said.<\/p>\n<p>In the beginning the platform will be used for government bonds, but later it will expand into the secondary market as well, Saroyan said.<\/p>\n<p>NASDAQ OMX Armenia (former Armenian Stock Exchange, Armex), was established in 2001 as a voluntary merger of 21 broker (dealer) companies. In November 2007 the stock exchange was reorganized into OJSC. OMX (current NASDAQ OMX) is a holder of 100% stock of NASDAQ OMX Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>The stock exchange obtained 100% stock of Armenia\u2019s Central Depository. NASDAQ OMX Armenia received a trade license from CBA on November 7, 2005.
