{"id":85941,"date":"2015-03-26T10:37:10","date_gmt":"2015-03-26T10:37:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2015\/03\/26\/242587\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:17:05","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:17:05","slug":"eurasian-development-banks-current-investment-portfolio-to-be-built-up-to-at-least-4-7-billion-by-late-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2015\/03\/26\/85941\/","title":{"rendered":"Eurasian Development Bank\u2019s current investment portfolio to be built up to at least $4.7 billion by late 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, March 26. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The Eurasian Development Bank\u2019s current investment portfolio will be built up to no less than $4.7 billion by late 2017, the bank says in the presentation of key directions of its activity.<\/p>\n<p>The bank will ensure this increase by signing new projects of the total cost of at least $3.7 billion.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, in 2014 the Eurasian Development Bank\u2019s current investment portfolio was filled with 17 projects totaling $371 million and other 80 investment projects are being implemented in six member countries now.<\/p>\n<p>Guided by its 2013-2017 strategy, the Eurasian Development Bank pays special attention to energy, transport and municipal infrastructure projects in member countries.<\/p>\n<p>For example, the bank&#8217;s anti-crisis fund decided in 2014 to extend a $150-million investment loan for construction of North-South transport corridor.<\/p>\n<p>Now the Eurasian Development Bank is considering projects that total over $10 billion. The total financing by the bank is estimated at $2 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) is an international financial organization established by Russia and Kazakhstan in 2006 to help develop market economies and boost mutual trade ties in member states.<\/p>\n<p>The bank\u2019s authorized stock is 7 billion US dollars, including paid capital of $1.5 billion and demand capital of $5.5 billion.
