{"id":8691,"date":"2010-03-10T15:47:13","date_gmt":"2010-03-10T15:47:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2010\/03\/10\/230757\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:46:35","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:46:35","slug":"securities-deals-on-nasdaq-omx-armenia-stock-exchange-total-amd-224-6-million-in-february","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2010\/03\/10\/8691\/","title":{"rendered":"Securities deals on NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange total AMD 224.6 million in february"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, March 10. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Securities deals effected on NASDAQ OMX Armenia Stock Exchange reduced 55.4% in February to AMD 224.6 million against AMD 503.6 million in January.<\/p>\n<p>ARKA News Agency\u2019s analysis based on the stock exchange\u2019s reports showed that deals on corporate bonds amounted to AMD 13.6 million and made up 6.1% of total amount.<\/p>\n<p>Transactions on government bonds totaled AMD 211 million (93.9%).<\/p>\n<p>In February, deals were effected on government bonds and stocks and corporate bonds of two private companies.<br \/>\nInecobank CJSC, with its deals worth AMD 8.7 million (63.5%), became the leader in February.<\/p>\n<p>Elite Group concluded transactions worth AMD 5 million in February.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2008, Nordic exchange operator OMX Group acquired 100% of shares of the Armenian Stock Exchange (Armex) and the Central Depository of Armenia (CDA). After the combination of NASDAQ and OMX in February 2008, Armex and CDA have become fully owned by the NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc.<\/p>\n<p>On January 27, 2009, \u201cArmenian Stock Exchange\u201d ojsc was officially renamed as \u201cNASDAQ OMX Armenia\u201d ojsc. On June 5, 2009, \u201cNASDAQ OMX Armenia\u201d ojsc became the owner of 100% of the shares of the \u201cCentral Depository of Armenia\u201d ojsc.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty seven companies, including 20 banks, are members of NASDAQ OMX Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>Some 12 stocks and eight corporate bonds were listed on this stock exchange as of February 26, and capitalization reached AMD 53.4 billion.
