Total portfolio of all securities as of December 31 was 90.9 billion drams, from which 96.4% were state securities.<\/p>\n<p>By the volume of investments in securities was leading \u201cArmswissbank\u201d \u2013 13.8 billion drams, from which about 13 billion drams or 93.9% made state bonds. At the same time, 6.1% of securities portfolio of the bank or 844.9 million drams was non-state securities. By the results of forth quarter of 2009 percent income of \u201cArmswissbank\u201d from investments in debt securities was 1.1 billion drams or 45.1% of total percent income. The next is Ardshininvestbank (10.8 billion drams), investments of which in state securities was 99.79% and in non-state securities &#8211; 21%. In 2009 percent income of the Bank from investments in debt securities was 398.4 million drams or 3.4% from total percent income. Leaders are also HSBC Bank Armenia \u2013 9.2 billion drams (from which 99.65% makes state securities and 0.35% &#8211; non-state), Bank VTB (Armenia) \u2013 9.1 billion drams (96.4% and 3.6% accordingly) and Ameriabank \u2013 7.2 billion drams (97.95% and 2.05%).<\/p>\n<p>As of December 31, 22 banks with 382 branches were operating in Armenia.
